About Colorado Access Advantage

In 2005, Colorado Access launched its Medicare line of business, Colorado Access Advantage. Presently, Colorado Access Advantage offers two (2) different Medicare Advantage plans. Each plan includes Medicare Part A, Part B and Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Coverage as well as benefits beyond that of original Medicare. Each of the plans are available to individuals with Medicare Parts A andB that live in the Denver Metro-area, El Paso County, the San Luis Valley, Logan, Morgan, Larimer and Weld counties.

Colorado Access Advantage Plan D (HMO SNP) is a Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan for members who are enrolled in Medicare Parts A&B and who receive medical assistance from the State (Medicaid).  The plan offers extra benefits that are helpful to the population it serves.

Colorado Access Advantage Plan E (HMO) is a low-premium Medicare Advantage plan that offers additional benefits such as extra vision and dental care.

Meet the Executive Director

Picture of Bill Horner   Mr. Horner has served in the healthcare industry for 30 years. He joined Colorado Access from Rochester General Hospital, where he was the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to that, he worked at Banner Health for 25 years, where he was the Associate Administrator and Regional Director of Managed Care. Mr. Horner earned his BA in Finance from Arizona State and his MBA from Colorado State University.
