Colorado Access Welcomes Julia Hutchins

Colorado Access is pleased to announce the addition of Julia Hutchins to their management team. Ms. Hutchins will serve at the Executive Director of Colorado Access Advantage, the company’s Medicare line of business, which includes a special needs plan for individuals who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid.
“I am excited to join the team at Colorado Access,” said Ms. Hutchins. “I look forward to working with local stakeholders to design and implement a more integrated system of care for low income seniors and people with disabilities.”
Ms. Hutchins brings to Colorado Access extensive knowledge and experience in Medicare and healthcare policy. She holds a BA degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, as well as a Master’s in Public Health and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkley. Prior to joining Colorado Access, she was the senior director, business development and planning for Alameda Alliance for Health (AAH), a not-for-profit health plan in the San Francisco Bay Area. While with AAH, her many accomplishments included the successful oversight of the implementation of their Medicare Advantage plan. She has also served as a policy analyst for the Los Angeles Department of Health Care Services and the University of California Office of the President, California Program on Access to Care.
