Gretchen Flanders McGinnis, MSPH

Gretchen Flanders McGinnis, MSPH, Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Performance Improvement, provides oversight of all strategic planning activities.

Gretchen joined Colorado Access in March 2000 as the Decision Support Manager. Since that time, she has played an integral part in the growth of Colorado Access, by applying deep knowledge of public healthcare systems and policy to internal strategies for meeting market demand. She provides executive leadership of policy and government relations.

Gretchen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Vassar College and earned a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She has over 12 years of healthcare experience, and brings to Colorado Access a unique understanding of healthcare systems and public policy. Prior to joining Colorado Access, she served as a policy associate for the National Conference of State Legislatures.

CART (Community Accessing Resources Together)  A free health care event that will help Coloradoans get connected for health care, nutrition education, food assistance sites, dental care and mental care services. COA has partnered up with CART and we will be hosting a table offering assistance with enrollment for CHP+ and Medicaid.

Project Homeless Connect 15 (PHC15) PHC is a one day, free event where individuals and families experiencing homelessness can access services and resources including medical care, Homeless Court, benefit assistance, employment services, haircuts, clothing and other community resources.
