Cultural Competency Training

As part of your practice, you likely come in contact with people from diverse backgrounds. Increasing your level of cultural competence can help you to understand and communicate with your patients in a way that benefits everyone. We offer a free training program for providers that offers a pragmatic approach to understanding and working with differences in the workplace stemming from age, gender, race, socioeconomic level, religion, sexual orientation and more. The training provides a basic understanding of culture competence and equips you with a set of skills, attitudes and guidelines to draw from while providing care and services to members with cultural differences. To schedule a training, call us at 800-511-5010.
