Sąveika

Sąveika: informacija apie sveikatą ir trečiųjų šalių programos

Kas yra sąveikumas?

Interoperability lets you see your health data through an application (app). You can use this app on a computer, smartphone, or tablet. If you have Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program) or Child Health Plan Daugiau (CHP+), you can get your health data through Edifecs.

Užsiregistruoti čia to connect your data. Once you sign up, you will also be able to share your data with doctors and nurses involved in your care. You decide what app you want to use. Then allow it to connect to Edifecs.

How does this help me?

Interoperability can help you:

  • Share your data with doctors and nurses
  • Access claims and billing information
  • Find real-time information on out-of-pocket costs and copays
  • Get better chronic disease management
  • Achieve improved health outcomes
  • With so many other things!

How do I choose an app?

When you are picking an app, ask yourself:

  • How will the app use my data?
  • Is the privacy policy easy to read and understand? If it is not, you should not use it.
  • How is my data stored?
    • Is it de-identified?
    • Is it anonymized?
  • How long as the app been around?
  • What do the reviews say?
  • How does the app protect my data?
  • Does the app collect non-health care data, like my location?
  • Does the app have a process for collecting and responding to user complaints?
  • Will the app give my data to third parties?
    • Will they sell my data?
    • Will they share my data?
  • If I don’t want to use the app anymore, or I don’t want them to have my data, how do I stop the app from having my data?
  • How does the app delete my data?

How do I know if the app has changed its privacy practices?

Kokios mano teisės?

We are covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). We are required to protect your data while it is in our possession.

Programėlės yra ne covered by HIPAA. Once we give your data to the app, HIPAA no longer applies. Make sure that the app you choose protects your health information. Most third-party apps are not covered by HIPAA.

  • Most apps will be covered by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Click čia to read about your mobile privacy and security from the FTC.
  • The FTC Act has protections against deceptive acts. This means things like an app sharing your data when they say they won’t.
