April is Medicaid Awareness Month, and I want to take some time to cover some vital information for a program referred to as “a lifeline for many.” One of the biggest misconceptions about Medicaid is that it's only for the population under the federal poverty level or that it is just a handout when, in fact, it is a hand-up!
