Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Integration

Eileen is the director of diversity, equity and inclusion program integration at Colorado Access. She is an experienced public health professional with a proven track record in improving health outcomes for populations that have been historically marginalized. As a parent of an adult child with disabilities, Eileen has influenced systemic change by embedding the perspective of patients and families in policies, programs and processes. Eileen served in leadership roles at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, including serving as the first director of the medical home initiative, anchoring patient centered care in quality metrics. Eileen has been recognized as a state and national leader, serving as a consultant to organizations such as Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Association of Maternal and Child Health (AMCHP) and two Governor appointed advisory positions in Colorado. In 2010, Eileen received a personal invitation to the White House by President Obama in recognition of her impact in furthering the Americans with Disabilities Act and in 2011 was also recognized as Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women.
