About Access Behavioral Care

Since 1998, Access Behavioral Care has been serving the needs of Medicaid recipients in Denver County. Through a vast provider network and partnerships with key safety-net providers such as the Mental Health Center of Denver, Access Behavioral Care ensures that members have access to behavioral health services.

Access Behavioral Care is guided by a philosophy focused on improved outcomes and integrated care. Staff work directly with consumers and family members to assist in navigating through the often complex behavioral health system. Additionally, members receive focused support to ensure decreased emergency department utilization, and coordinated care between psychiatric emergency services and outpatient care.
