About Access Behavioral Care
Colorado Access first began a behavioral health line of business in 1998. Since that time, Access Behavioral Care (ABC) has been serving the behavioral health needs of Medicaid recipients in Denver County. In 2014, ABC expanded and now serves the needs of Medicaid recipients in Northeast Colorado. Through a vast provider network and partnerships with key safety-net providers, ABC ensures that members have access to behavioral health services.
Access Behavioral Care is guided by a philosophy focused on improved outcomes and integrated care. Our staff works directly with consumers and family members to help them navigate the behavioral health system. Our members get support to help decrease emergency department visits. Additionally, we coordinate care between psychiatric emergency services and outpatient services.
