Health Programs Specialist

Kate is a health programs specialist in the population health & quality department. She joined Colorado Access after earning her MPH emphasizing community and behavioral health at the University of Colorado, Colorado School of Public Health. She has a background in public health, specifically HIV/AIDS programming and comprehensive sexuality education programming. Kate currently serves at the president of the board of directors of a nonprofit in Cusco, Peru called Chaska. Their aim is to break the cycle of poverty by providing education and addressing gender inequality. Kate is interested in mental health and well-being and anti-oppression theory, and she enjoys riding her bike, working on passion projects, and bartending in Denver on the weekends.
